Race Summary
AFFAIR TO REMEMBER prompted the pace three deep, assumed command with five-sixteenths to run and steadily increased her advantage. WHIPPORWILL CREEK set the pressured pace along the inside, was unable to match strides with the winner but kept on well to clearly prove the best of the rest. MIS MAX was allowed to settle, got through to make a late rally and was along in time to earn the show. TAPTOBE contended between horses, made a mild bid three deep but lacked the needed late response. MADISON COUNTY was hustled along between horses in the second flight and went evenly. DANCING SKY (IRE) broke a step slow, rushed to contention six wide, but came up empty on the second turn and faded. SASSY BUCK was forwardly placed along the inside for five furlongs and dropped out. MRS. STEVE was within striking distance from between horses, but drifted out through the second turn and stopped.
