Race Summary

AN HEIR OF MAGIC, between foes in hand early while tracking front-running BENEDICT, moved after that one approaching the stretch, wrested command, drew off and was kept to his task. LITTLE MONEY, bumped at the start by MATT'SHOMEKISSES and forced in, was unhurried, advanced five wide around the turn and continued willingly to earn the place. COLSANSHE, within striking distance and four or five wide, was empty in the late going. SPURADIC, reserved inside early, swung eight wide entering the lane but never threatened. BENEDICT ducked in at the start bumping with MATT'SHOMEKISSES, forced that one in on LITTLE MONEY, sprinted clear, made the pace into the upper stretch and gave way readily. DUKE OF NOTTINGHAM, four or five wide, was steadied at the sixteenth pole while tiring. MATT'SHOMEKISSES, bumped at the start by BENEDICT and forced in, raced near the inside and tired. WILD C AND C was outrun. MAJOR LEE settled in behind horses and tired on the far turn.
