Race Summary
ARTFUL LAUNCH reserved early, advanced three wide on the turn, angled out for the drive, drifted in a bit with a sixteenth to go then finished willingly to be up in time. HOPE AND COPE with the pace outside, took over in the four path on the turn, drifted six wide entering the stretch then held on gamely but was outfinished. RIVER BOTTOM DIXIE contested the pace near the rail and weakened late. MISPARKLE TOO within striking distance along the inside, lacked the needed closing bid. PASS DUE behind the leaders along the inside, had little left late. CON THE GOLD outrun early, found his best stride too late. LOST CREEK forwardly placed three wide, steadied near the sixteenth marker when the winner drifted in then tired. DOMESTIC ARTS close up early, raced five wide out of the turn and tired. SATINE was outrun.
