Race Summary
ARTFUL LAUNCH settled in behind foes early, angled five wide entering the stretch and closed determinedly under urging to be along in time. DARING VAL, bumped at the start by MISGOLDY, gained the lead, raced in the three path, was clear for the last eighth and failed to last. ANNA DANA tracked the pace four wide into the final furlong and came up empty. MISGOLDY came out bumping DARING VAL at the break, raced five or six wide throughout and failed to fire. PATI'S PRINCESSA raced forwardly inside to the lane, weakened and dead heated with BIG HITTER for fifth. BIG HITTER forced the pace four wide to the stretch and tired while finishing on even terms with PATTI'S PRINCESSA for fifth.
