Race Summary

BRASS HAT reserved while forwardly placed up and three wide, moved closer on the second turn, challenged on his own courage approaching the furlong marker then proved best late under steady handling. STUDENT COUNCIL pressed the pace off the inside, gained a short lead on the second turn, responded willingly when headed by the winner and held on gamely. COPY MY NOTES vied for the lead along the inside, held on well to midstretch and tired. REAL DANDY outrun early while off the inside, could not menace. PERFECT DRIFT close up while off the inside, tired. M B SEA was no factor.
