| Race Summary |
|---|
BRASS HAT reserved while forwardly placed up and three wide, moved closer on the
second turn, challenged on his own courage approaching the furlong marker then
proved best late under steady handling. STUDENT COUNCIL pressed the pace off the
inside, gained a short lead on the second turn, responded willingly when headed
by the winner and held on gamely. COPY MY NOTES vied for the lead along the
inside, held on well to midstretch and tired. REAL DANDY outrun early while off
the inside, could not menace. PERFECT DRIFT close up while off the inside,
tired. M B SEA was no factor.
