Race Summary
ELLA BELLE vied for the lead three wide, shook off CAARSON'S CLOVER after six furlongs and drew off under steady urging. CASUARINA outrun early, advanced three wide on the second turn and finished willingly for the place. REITO PEITO outrun early, made a bold five wide middle move to reach a forward position approaching the stretch but tired in the drive. CARSON'S CLOVER alternated for the lead off the inside and tired in the stretch. MARGE S drifted out at the start and bumped AIR KAPERT, raced within striking distance, moved out five wide midway through the second turn and had no rally. EL DAMIEN was no factor. AIR KAPER bumped at the start, recovered to be forwardly placed bud faded in the drive. TRANSPARENCY close up along the inside, gave way. VANTAGE within striking distance four wide, faded. MRS. DEBBIE M five wide on the first turn, faded after a half.
