Starters and riders must be named through the entry box by the usual time of closing. This race will be limited to twelve starters. Preference to start will be given in the following order: Graded/Group Stakes Winners (in order I-II-III). Stakes winners, then highest total earnings in 2005-2006. Race Summary
ELLA BELLE sprinted clear, set the pace off the inside, repulsed a bid entering the stretch and drew off under steady urging. CERCATORE dropped back early, made a good middle move in the two path but lodged only a mild bid for the place. QUITE A RUCKUS closest to the early pace three wide, dropped back a bit before a half, angled out five wide midway through the second turn but lacked a late bid. DARLING DAUGHTER close up early four wide, moved in a bit before a half, made a run at the winner approaching the stretch but gave way in the drive. LENATAREESE outrun early four wide, angled in, made a run along the inside on the second turn but tired in the drive. TRUELY RUBY was no threat. CAT QUATORZE never far back five wide, stayed in that path on the second turn and faded in the stretch. AYLA BELLA six wide on the first turn, held on well to the stretch and stopped. RIMROC GOLD was through early along the inside.
