GERI ROAD settled in hand off of the inside, launched her bid leaving the turn,
slipped through entering the stretch, caught CONNIE'S JUNE MOON with a furlong
to run and gradually edged clear. CONNIE'S JUNE MOON prompted the pace three
deep, forged command entering the stretch, battled gamely through a prolonged
drive but grudgingly gave way. SCOTLAND PLACE broke slowly and was unhurried
into stride, swung six wide to make a late rally and was along in time to earn
the show. FLASHY DREAM opened clear to set the pace off of the inside, was
headed leaving the turn, weakened during the drive from between horses and
faded. JUNE'S BEST settled saving ground, angled out entering the stretch made a
mild rally from between horses and improved her position through the stretch.
MAGICAL PRIZE was unhurried into stride, made a belated gain from between horses
but failed to seriously threaten. CHAFFED LIPS chased the pace four wide to the
stretch and tired. STORM SEIGE was unhurried, went four wide throughout and
lacked a response when called upon. BEAU'S VALENTINE was forwardly placed along
the inside for a half and dropped out.
