Race Summary

HOT CASE bumped at the start, recovered to race within striking distance, angled out four wide late on the turn when moving to challenged, engaged the leaders with a furlong to go and proved narrowly best. ONE SHOT JOHN set the pace inside, drifted out in upper stretch tightening up outer rivals, responded willingly in the stretch but missed. HALOBEGONE bumped and forced in into SHAGARI SAFARI at the start, raced forwardly thereafter, moved out between rivals leaving the turn, steadied when ONE SHOT JOHN drifted out then rallied willingly to miss. LUKENSTEIN within striking distance early, lacked a closing bid. CLETUS outrun early, could not menace. SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS bumped and forced into the winner at the start, recovered to race within striking distance but lacked a late bid. SPURTABILITY forwardly placed, raced five wide into the turn and tired. HARKING forced the pace three wide and tired. HAYWEED drifted in and bumped HALOBEGONE at the start then was outrun. ZAHAV pressed the pace off the inside and gave way.
