Race Summary
SAINT PEGASUS forwardly placed, inside, was in close quarters near the half mile marker, advanced inside once in the turn, came out three wide approaching the stretch, drew clear in midstretch and stayed clear under steady urging. IHAVEMYEYEONYOU forwardly placed three wide, moved four wide into the stretch with the winner, could not gain on that one in the drive but was clearly second best. BRILLIANT HUMOR outrun early, was wide on the turn and made a late gain. ALBERT'S JEWEL vied for the lead along the inside and tired in the final furlong. SPELLBIND bumped at the start, was outrun for a half, angled to the outside for the drive and finished willingly. MEAN GIRL alternated for the lead off the inside and tired. CLASSIC EMILY in tight at the start, could not menace. MARLIN MY DARLING reserved early, was no factor. HEAVEN'S DEESIGN five or six wide on the turn, was no threat. CARMELLA SOPRANO was outrun. SAILING FREE within striking distance along the inside, faded. CHOCOLATENROSES hopped start, drifted out recovering then was through early.
