IN RHYTHM reserved racing along the inside, swung outside the leaders leaving the turn, rallied to take over just inside the eighth pole, then drew off under urging. COUNTY GUN was caught in tight at the start, chased the pace, moved up to engage ARCHRIVAL midway of the turn, dueled for the lead to the eighth pole, then was no match for the winner while continuing on with good courage for the place. SMALL GIANT unhurried after breaking poorly, saved ground around the turn, then closed to gain the show while no threat to the top ones. D'SOMONDOCO tracked the leaders three wide into the stretch but had no response when asked. ARCHRIVAL showed speed along the inside, responded when challenged by COUNTY GUN on the turn, dueled with that rival to the eighth pole, then tired. HOT UNDER PRESSURE failed to menace. THE PARTY'S OVER was no factor after being caught in tight at the start. MAGNIFICODE was outrun. FOUND STORM rated off the pace, raced four wide around the turn and faltered. J J CALI tracked the pace four wide into the turn and faded. COUNTY TRICK showed brief speed and stopped. |
