JANOU stalked the pace while never far back on the outside, rallied into the stretch and dueled for the lead, was all out to prevail in a long drive. GIRLS DO RULE was in a good stalking position on the outside, rallied into the stretch and led, could not get by the winner late but gave way grudgingly. DRESS IN DUBAI was pinched back and bumped at the start, had a late rally in the stretch and was gaining but too late. ELEUTHERA dueled for the lead and set the pace, could not go with the leaders late but also gave way grudgingly. NORTHEAST HARBOR was unhurried early, improved position but was no factor. CITY FLAG was steadied while in tight early in mid pack along the rail, had no rally. SNICKY dueled for the lead early, was through after a half mile and dropped back. BOZENA was checked repeatedly while in tight along the rail, was no threat. NICER THAN EVER bore out and bumped DRESS IN DUBAI at the start, was no factor. |
