Race Summary

JANOU pressed the pace outside, gained a short lead in the three path on the turn, drew clear in upper stretch and stayed clear while kept to the task. DANCING LYDIA steadied near the half mile marker when with the pace, raced four wide into the stretch but lodged only a mild late bid. ROBIN MY GIRL within striking distance three wide, lodged a mild late bid. BETTY'S CHAMP stumbled at the start, was outrun early, raced four wide on the turn and could not threaten. INSTALL close up along the inside while in hand, failed to respond in the stretch. CART'S LINDA alternated for the lead along the inside and tired in the stretch. FORTHEBOYSATTHEBAR forced the pace between rivals and gave way.
