Race Summary
RECOGNITION forwardly placed along the inside, challenged from the rail on the backstretch, took over after six furlongs and lasted late. ESPRIT DU ROI (CHI) reserved early, raced in the three path on the second turn when working his way forward, angled out for the drive and closed well but missed. KING OF SPEED never far back three wide, challenged on the second turn and held on gamely. BUDDY GOT EVEN outrun for a half, angled out entering the stretch and made a good late gain. TWILIGHT ROAD closest to the early pace three wide, gained the inside late on the second turn and weakened. DYNAREIGN within striking distanced, raced four wide with three furlongs to go and lodged a mild bid. WAYZATA BAY could not menace. HOLY CITY set the pace in the three path and tired. VICTORY FLYER was no factor.
