Race Summary
LANAU'S REASON contested the pace inside while under a rating hold, drew off into the lane, then was in hand through the final sixteenth as much the best. KING'S TEMPTRESS, unruly behind the gate and fractious when loaded, hopped when breaking, went up to vie for the lead outside of the winner and was no match leaving the turn while saving the place. HER OWN STORM settled in behind foes early, fanned eight wide into the stretch and was empty in the late going. LILYLUCALONI drifted out at the start bumping LANAU'S REASON and had no rally. HAM'S LIT'L CORRIE tracked the pace four wide to the stretch and faltered. EMOTIONAL RELEASE drifted out at the start, was hustled along to stalk the pace four wide and weakened after three furlongs. BURGOO QUEEN failed to menace. SOCIETY MISTRESS broke slowly and showed nothing.
