HIT THE HARDWOOD outrun for a half, made a run along the inside after a half, angled out in midstretch and drew clear late. PORT HUENEME closest to the pace off the inside, challenged on the second turn and held on gamely while no match for the winner late. KENTUCKY SWAGGER reserved along the inside, angled out approaching the stretch but lodged only a mild late bid. SONNY'S LEGACY behind the leaders three wide, lacked a closing bid. DANDY GENTLEMAN outsprinted early four wide, stayed in that path the remainder and had little left late. REAL MONARCH sprinted clear, set the pace along the inside, held on well to midstretch and tired. RURD unhurried early, raced four wide late on the second turn and was no threat. SOUNDS O K was outrun. OUR GANG trailed. |
