Race Summary

PURE POLISHED settled in hand while in the clear on the outside, launched her bid four wide and was fully extended to wear down her stable mate in the final strides. STREAM KID stumbled at the start to get away behind her field, recovered quickly and rushed to the fore by the articulation of the dogleg leaving the chute, edged clear and controlled the tempo through a prolonged drive, battled determinedly but was denied in the shadow of the wire. TIAMO BELLA was unhurried into stride, tucked in to save ground, angled out to commence her bid leaving the turn, came five wide and was making up ground with every stride. PERFECTLY CAMPBELL settled between horses, ranged into striking distance through the turn, came four wide into the stretch, angled in for the final furlong and was gaining. SUMMERS EDGE was forwardly placed three deep, bid between horses with a quarter to run, but weakened during the drive and gave way. COURTLY MISS was squeezed at the start, angled in and pulled her way into contention along the rail, but faltered after six furlongs and faded. SILVER DOLL was away alertly, prompted the pace two wide through the turn and tired. KISSIN BOBBY VICAR contended between horses for a half and dropped out.
