| Race Summary |
|---|
UP AND AWAY settled in hand off of the inside, angled out to commence her bid
with three furlongs to run, loomed large entering the stretch, took over inside
the furlong marker and edged clear. IMPRESSIONIST stalked the pace four wide,
assumed command after a half, widened through the second turn, but was unable to
match strides with the winner and settled for the place. BOM BABY settled into
stride toward the inside, advanced between horses, angled out entering the
stretch and was along for the show. CLASS OF FIFTY TWO broke awkwardly, was
unhurried into stride, came five wide between horses and improved position. KATY
LIED was allowed to settle, circled six wide and finished with a mild rally.
CHURCH MOUSE was hustled along three wide, but lacked a response when called
upon. SALTED CLOUD disputed the pace along the inside to the second turn and
faded. LUZ DEL NORTE settled four wide and was never a factor. ALLEVIATE made a
middle move four wide, but came up empty between horses before going six
furlongs and faded fast. FLOATING DREAM vied for the lead two wide through the
second turn and stopped.
