Race Summary
WAY OF THE TIGER reserved early six wide, moved in a bit and advanced five wide on the second turn, gained a short lead with a furlong to go and proved narrowly best. STORM COVER angled out early, made a run five wide on the second turn and closed willingly outside the winner to miss. WAYFARER close up early while off the inside, steadily dropped back, commenced his bid between rivals with three furlongs to go, came five wide into the stretch and made a good late gain. LAST COIN TOSS set the pace off the inside, responded willingly when challenged before a half, battled to inside the final furlong and tired. WHITE SEA within striking distance four wide, dropped back after a half, came five wide into the stretch and improved his position late. OCHEE five wide on the first turn when within striking distance, moved in a path on the second turn, held on well to midstretch and tired. ESPRIT DE SILVA angled in early, was reserved along the inside and lacked a closing bid. KING SONIC forwardly placed along the inside, moved off the rail on the second turn and tired in the drive. BILLY BRAKE five wide early when moving to a forward position, challenged before a half, battled into midstretch and tired. MONTREAUX was outrun. BERNSTEINS SUNRISE trailed.
