| Race Summary |
|---|
WOOLLY WALKER set the pace off the inside, responded willingly in the stretch
and improved narrowly best while bumping with the runner up in deep stretch.
SILVER GRITS within striking distance off the inside, challenged in midstretch
and just missed while bumping with the winner in deep stretch. WRITER'S CRAMP
within striking distance, moved to a challenging position three wide late on the
second turn and held on gamely. SEEKING LARRY clipped heels and bobbled after
the start, was outrun to the stretch and improved his position late. PERUVIAN
GOLD outrun early five wide, could not threaten. ATRATO angled in on the first
turn, made a mild middle move along the inside but could not sustain the bid.
REPRICED IS HOME seven wide with three furlongs to go, was not a factor. JOE
KNOWS ALL prompted the pace three wide and faded. HOMETOWN KID close up in the
four path, moved out to the six path with three furlongs to go and stopped.
STORMIN IN DIXIE drifted out at the start, raced seven wide on the second turn
and could not threaten. GOLD'S ANATOMY forced the early pace three wide and
stopped. RARE BEHAVIOUR was through early.
