ASK THE QUESTION was never far back, raced five wide, moved to the fore in the upper stretch, drew clear, then held sway under mild encouragement. WRAPPER came out at the break bumping HEAT ON THE RISE, raced in behind rivals three wide, angled six wide into the lane and was going well at the end. EMOTIONAL RELEASE, bumped at the start by WITCH BAY, tracked the pace four wide, loomed a solid threat into the last eighth and came up empty. WITCH BAY came out at the start bumping EMOTIONAL RELEASE, angled in to fight for the lead, edged clear on the turn but weakened in the drive. STORM BUCKER had no rally in an even effort. HEAT ONTHE RISE, bumped at the start and outrun to the lane, came out seven wide for the drive and improved position. FALL VICTORY never was prominent. LASTING MEMORY vied for the lead along the inside for three furlongs and tired. MORGHYN always was outrun.
